and relaxation that only comes from a tummy full of amazing food and wine! Le Roux has 2 double bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a lounge area, kitchen and garden. It has everything you need to make your stay comfortable, including air conditioning, car parking for 2 cars, landscaped garden with a Weber braai, comfy beds, rain shower, huge bath and all your kitchen essentials. Le Roux is the last building before the beautiful Huguenot Monument, on the Franschhoek High Street. It is very easy to find and means you are walking distance from everywhere in the village. It is steps away from The Tasting Room - part of Le Quartier Francais, which wins awards every year for being the best restaurant in Africa and one of the top 100 in the world. There are many other restaurants and vineyards within walking distance or a very short drive away.

Franschhoek Pass is officially OPEN! 🏞️

However, please take note that the Pass will be closed for maintenance between Monday and Friday, from 8am-5pm until 15 December, and again from 8 January until the end of February. During this time, the Pass will be open for light vehicles after hours and over weekends. 🚗

The great news? The Pass will be fully open to light vehicles between 15 December 2023 & 8 January 2024!

We look forward to inviting travellers back into the village via the Pass. The summer sun and vineyards await you!✨

We have the best news! 🍾 After two years, Franschhoek’s Cap Classique & Champagne Festival is back, and will be taking place at the Franschhoek Monument on the 3rd and the 4th of December.

Tickets are available from Webtickets for R450pp. Your ticket includes a crystal tasting glass and 10 tasting coupons. This year’s dress code is elegant in blue & white.
