Gansbaai’s Visitor Informaton Centre is filled with interesting and relevant information. The three friendly staff members are always on their post to help you. That’s not all, Gansbaai Tourism Bureau also has a conference facility which can be hired that can accommodate up to 80 pax.

Bietoubos ladies club learn more about tourism in Gansbaai.
I gave them a brief overview focusing on the new experiences like the Botanical Art Gallery ( floriligium) at Grootbos. Keith from Afrikanos Gansbaai told them about all the fun things happening- and invited them to the Ladies Nights. He kindly donated 2 vouchers for a pond tour. Ayanda manned the info table. The host ladies decorated the tables in a fun holiday theme.

Seeing a real live crocodile for the first time! Our interns went for an educational at Afrikanos Gansbaai last week. "This what they had to say- Upon arrival we were welcomed and given an educational talk by John, their well-trained and experienced guide. The underwater viewing- cave gave us our first awesone view of these creatures. We proceeded to the elevated walkway from where we had a great view of the crocodiles. "Being able to view these creatures relaxing in the sun was just the best feeling." During the briefing we were able to touch the skin of a crocodile and this was a great feeling!" This is an experience to be remembered. Afrikanos also has a restaurant and their speciality is surely pizzas and hamburgers. There is a play- area for kids to enjoy as well. (Wakube ufikile eAfrikanos uyamkelwa unikwe, ufundiswe ngokudingayo nangofuna ukukwazi malunga nooXam, ngokuqeqeshwa nangolwazi olubanzi ngumphathi wabo ooxam ogama lingu (JOHN).
