Step into the immersive world of ‘Aqua’, where we pay homage to the life-giving force of water, exploring its wonders, mysteries, and the diverse ecosystems it sustains in our oceans. Our new exhibition ’Aqua’ is up and ready for you to enjoy. For this exhibition we will not be having a traditional opening but instead will have a big celebration on World Ocean Day on 8 June. It has been a very busy and enjoyable weekend at the Baardskeerdersbos Art Route 2024 where it has been a privilege to have had my first sculpture exhibition in such a great venue (To my host Eva a big THANK YOU for so graciously allowing my Ocean Flow Exhibition to overflow your space. ) Thank you to the organisers, my fellow artists, all the many art enthusiast visitors and buyers for making this such a unique and successful event!

I will be participating as a Guest Artist in the upcoming Baardskeerdesbos Art Route 2024 and I invite you all to come and view my work the weekend of April 20th. Aside from viewing some Ocean Flow art, Baarskeerdersbos is an intriguing and relaxing place to visit with many other great artists exhibiting.

Fouché Hough will sharing his deep affinity for the ocean during the upcoming . His sculptures capture some of the dynamic ocean movements he has witnessed firsthand. These experiences infuse his sculpture and flowing lines, textured surfaces, and metallic patinas - and all contribute to his minimalist aesthetic and his desire to reflect the beauty of ocean flows and the grace of marine life.

He believes that by taking time to observe the ocean's flow, we can cultivate a deeper connection to it, fostering an awareness of the threats it faces.

Working on a new Ocean Flow Sculpture which explores the intricate relationship between wind and water through resin.

Expressing the relative ocean conditions of Beaufort Scale 2 ... You feel the wind on your face. Small wavelets form with glassy crests, but no breaking waves yet. (The Beaufort Wind Scale is a way to estimate wind speed and its effects based on visual observations, designed for use at sea. The scale ranges from 0 (calm) to 12 (hurricane force)

My latest surf art .... A wall art sculpture called Fibonacci’s Backdoor - a spiral abstract wall sculpture of a wave barreling … It’s curving form suggests the “backdoor” approach which refers to catching a wave from the opposite side of the peak compared to the usual take-off point.
