Tricked this octopus into a close up inspection, thinking my walking stick was a tasty meal brought him close enough to grab.

Beautiful encounter with a large pod of Dolphins, birds were very interested and you can see there's a separate group within the main Pod.

Pre beach cleanup

Sadly a failed rescue of a stranded whale calf in Pearly Beach. Traumatic event ,and now the whale will die slowly overnight, hopefully people will keep their distance. Sadly there is a lot of red tape before the poor animal can be put to sleep.
