DESCRIPTION OF MOYALWANDLE Up market timber house at Ballots Heights Nature Reserve near Victoria Bay. The property is right on the cliff of a pristine coastline, part of a nature reserve on the garden route between Mossel Bay and Wilderness in the Western cape of South Africa. Open plan, wooden floored and spacious lounge and fully equipped modern kitchen. The lounge leads onto a wooden deck with beautiful sea and cliff views. The dining room leads onto a protected deck with fynbos views and plunge pool. There are three bedrooms (3 queen size beds), ground-floor bedrooms en-suite, upstairs bedroom with adjacent bathroom. 4 bunk-beds in open plan upstairs hall for children if required. Spectacular views from all rooms, even the showers. Perfect for peaceful and rejuvenating getaways. Sleeps six. The nature reserve at Ballots bay is part of the old Sandkraal Farm and consists of beautiful fynbos, indigenous forest with a coastline that is pristine and unspoilt. Being a nature reserve, it is very safe and peaceful. It is located on the coast just outside of George on the way to Wilderness, Sedgefield and Knysna, in one direction and Mossel Bay in the other. The house itself is right on the clifftop about 3.5 km along a pictueresque bendy but well-constructed road that runs from the main gate off Victoria bay road. The house itself has all the mod cons including dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer, CD and DVD player, TV, Weber Braaii, oven, gas hob etc. There is also a wonderful and efficient wood burning fireplace for chilly evenings in the winter. The beds are equipped with pure cotton sheets and duvets. Towels also provided. There are three bedrooms, one upstairs. The bottom bedrooms have en-suite shower and loo. The upstairs bedroom has an adjacent bathroom which also includes a bath and skylight. There are also 4 bunk-beds upstairs for children when necessary. On a fine day one can open up the whole house so there is a complete sense of living outside. There is also a CHUBB security alarm system which we activate when no one is in the house. The crockery, cutlery, cooking equip etc basically designed for 6 people. The house also has wooden decks on two sides plus a small swimming pool. The views are stunning. There are walking trails on the reserve both in open fynbos and forest, a private pebble beach ( Ballots Bay) and Boma in the forest.( Ballots Heights) Both the pebble beach and forest boma have braai facilities. It is completely peaceful and nourishing and yet the George shopping mall is a 15 min drive away as is Victoria Bay and Wilderness Beach a further 5 mins. The two bottom bedrooms have stained glass arched windows and the kitchen has been upgraded. The walls are white washed wood which gives a light and airy feeling. The ceilings are high with modern light fittings. One set of linen and towels is supplied. If staying longer than a week, please arrange with owner as to when to change linen and service house if necessary.
