13/12/2020

The King Lobengula Foundation that is based in Makhanda [Grahamstown] is the rightful and regal representative of the House of Njube Albany kaLobengula kaMzilikazi who is buried here in Fingo Village.
The Royal House of Njube is a collective of all the descendants of Njube Lobengula who were born on exile, due to Colonial intervention perpetrated by Cecil John Rhodes, under the instructions from Queen Victoria II of England after the 1893 Matebeleland war with British soldiers.
Most of us were born without the afore knowledge of the real genealogy of our forefathers. Hence, Princess Zila Lobengula, my mother gave me all the necessary information to maintain the legacy of our grandparent regardless of the political and cultural aspects that were prevailing at the time. In 2010, the King Lobengula Foundation was born, to safeguard our history. Then, the Foundation became the gatekeeper or the custodian of the Njube Heritage. Princess Zila, who was to be crowned and given the honourary title of a Queen before her untimely death 2018, had a dream of a Peaceful and a United Nation.
The House of Njube Lobengula has continued to retain her dreams of forming once again a "united" Nation, iSizwe sika Mthwakazi that was founded by our forefather King Mzilikazi kaMatshobana.

There have been rumours or hearsays since last year circulating on the media concerning the crowning of Bulelani as the new Ndebele king.
The Foundation had no prior knowledge of this event and the circumstances that led to it, hence we continue to be dismayed by current news that there is a "king" without any consultation with the Stakeholders.
And now again, we hear rumours circulating that the House of Njube is not intact. I want to assure the People of Mthwakazi and those of the diaspora that the family remains fortified against all onslaught and the family members would continue to stand united as ever before.

ISizwe sikaMthwakazi should also remain calm and not be driven by spirits of division and disillusionment.
The family members will conjurer sometime late in December 2020, to discuss certain issues that are pertinent to the formation and establishment of the Royal House of Njube in Zimbabwe. It is the Aim of King Lobengula Foundation to be at the forefront to bring about change in Mthwakazi soil, and to continue to lead the People of Mthwakazi who have long suffered the brutal policies of the ruling Party, not to mention the Colonial impact.

The time has come to free our People...

The King Lobengula Foundation would like to thank Ms Nomathamsanqa Shode from Grahamstown Hospice for Donating some wonderful Blankets. Here she is seen with Mrs. Nomso Mda, both displaying some colourfully handcrafted blankets that would be given to the Community on the World Aids - Covid-19 Day on the 1st of December 2020 @ Mt.Zion Heritage Park. We hope that we can get more Donation to make this Christmas a wonderful experience regardless of all what we have been through this year. We shall continue to strive to make the lives of Young and the Elderly better by providing relief and assistance whenever it is necessary, especially during the Festive season. We ask Volunteers and everyone interested to come forth and help us, to reach out to those less fortunate.. &Unity Campaign..

30/09/2020

This day of the 30th of September 2020, the Citizens of Makhanda witnessed yet another phenomenal occasion initiated by the Religious and Cultural leaders to step in front of the City hall. The silent protest was led by Archbishop Ngesi ( Apostolic Church), flanked by Sizwe Mda ( King Lobengula Foundation); Mr. Jela and with members from the Makhanda Legends who courageously held their placards that read pretty clearly the message of Anti corruption. It should be the Government priority to recognise the dilemmas that are slowly destroying the city. Makhanda city has a problem of the non Service Delivery and High Employment Rate. The money that is wasted on paying temporary Staff and some that is wasted on fixing old Equipment and Machinery should be diverted onto other necessary Projects that are aimed at alleviating Poverty and High Rate of Unemployment which can be witnessed by long cues at the Post Office. The Citizens should have a say on how the Government Funds are spent, and which Projects should be prioritised and implemented by Council in order to avoid any further financial discrepancy. Campaign.
