We shared an intimate moment listening to the sounds of our majestic beast. We heard a loud purring sound and one generally assumes it's a content sound of a cat, not in this case, it's a sound of moodiness, agitation....the lady is on heat..... The man is making sure no other intrudes or takes his lady.... He is warning everyone and everything.... As soon as he felt threatened we were too near, he stood up and stretched his neck skyward and ROARRRRRRED.... 6 times warning us with finality..... Wow.... He was truly a majestic boy to listen too. Our hearts were pounding with awe. We managed to record the purring and roaring but it sounds nothing like what we heard....
