For all the twitchers and secret birders out there. The sooty gull is still around and there is now a broad billed sandpiper as well as a pectoral sandpiper. The pectoral sandpiper is feeding about 300 m down from the pont on the far side of the river. Best sightings will be at low tide. We had lovely sightings of the grey crowned Crain pair and black winged lapwings on the road past the quarry. The African oyster catchers have chicks now although you will need eagle 👀 to see them. Happy twitching
