Inspired by our epic 100-beer adventure in Bruges, Belgium, we wanted to have a beer in one hundred countries. Embark on a journey with us as we set sail on our exotic adventure to discover the world's most exquisite beers! We sold all our belongings and invested in a stunning Leopard 45 Catamaran to explore the world's coastlines. Join us as we traverse the sparkling azure waters and navigate the rugged shorelines, in search of that elusive 100th beer in the most exotic locations on the planet.

Sailing Sisu

Sisu (a Finnish concept) is a grim, gritty, white-knuckle form of courage that is typically presented in situations where success is against the odds. It expresses itself in taking action against the odds and displaying courage and resoluteness in the face of adversity, in other words, deciding on a course of action and then sticking to that decision even despite repeated failures.

So, Petro and Frik decided to quit their good jobs, old everything and preparing to live of a boat. We are South Africans, that will sail around the world on our 45’ Leopard Catamaran, Sisu, sharing the adventure with extraordinary people we will pick up along the way. Starting by leaving the rat race, quitting our good jobs, and selling everything, we will zig-zag around the world, going against the trend, travelling from pole to pole. Follow us as this story unfolds! This is a sea-life adventure captained by a couple of nomads who have built their lives on doing what inspires them in the moment. Join us and see how we break free of the traditional lifestyle, and create a sustainable life cruising around the world, creating videos of our journey, adventures, life on board, and lessons learned along the way.
