A large pride of lions about 18+ was seen on a game drive with on 22 June 2024. North of Tskhokwane you get the Mazithi Dam this is in summer a large shallow pan that brings many animals. At the moment is dry at for many animals a last hope for water.
The lion pride that was seen had many females and a couple of young male sub-adults this was truly an experience for our guests on safari and really Kruger Park magic moments.

On February 10th, 2024, we went on a game drive from Satara to Olifants Camp. While en route, we passed by the Timbavati Picnic site turn-off and witnessed an interesting spectacle. Five male lions were running in the road, and it took us some time to figure out what was happening. It seemed like a territorial display of dominance, as the two older males were being chased by three younger males who were foaming heavily from their mouths, indicating that they were under stress and not happy with the situation.
As they were roaring and marking territory our guest was in awe with the sighting and for the most part, we were alone on the sighting really some Kruger Park magic to remember for sure.

Ten Lions hunted a Cape Buffalo Calf Kruger National Park
10 Lions kill a Cape Buffalo Calf on the S56 road close to Shingwedzi camp in the Kruger National Park video by B1 Photo Safaris
What can I say sometimes you get lucky but this video was a bit unexpected, taken on the 10th of November 2019. As we arrived on the sighing, for the second time during the day the Lions moved across the dry river and was lying right next to the road on our side. As we were taking photos of the lazy lions one female suddenly one buffalo slipped away unseen and charged the herd. In the confusion, we struggled to capture the actual kill as it was lions, buffalo, and dust, chaos erupted. But I managed to get it on video at least it was amazing to see how the tactic actually worked and it was like everything happened in slow motion. I could not believe my eyes. After the hunt, the lions made turns to feed and was just amazing to see how without a sound they work together as a unit. Two lionesses kept the herd at bay on the top of the ridge so that they could not come down and try to rescue the calf. This was truly and half a day with the lions and a real lifetime safari moment playoff right in front of us. The lions are in their natural environment doing what they do best, survive.

Pride of 23 Lions and plains game animals drinking at Nsemani Dam in Kruger National Park
Nsemani Dam is a waterhole close to Satara Camp in the Kruger National Park in South Africa.
This video shows an amazing sighting of 23 Lions around the waterhole and some other animals drinking around the waterhole.
This shows the cute young cubs females and two large males of the pride video were taken on the 16th of September 2018 by Bernhard Bekker of Private Kruger Safaris.
This was part of a private photographic safari with two guests for 7 nights and 8 days staying in the Kruger Park main camps.

Lost Lion cub found on S114 Male visiting Lion pride Kruger National Park
While on a Wildlife Photographic Safari in Kruger National Park we came across a very young Lion cub he was alone and running in different directions and calling the pride. The cub disappeared into thick bush and we continued with the safari. About 800 meters down the S114 road about 4km from the main Napi road near Skukuza we found a pride of 4 females.
One of the females was waking around searching and softly calling for the cub. She went into the same direction we last saw the cub and yes they found each other again and reunited. What a happy lion cub that was he was panting but you can see it was very happy to have found the female.
Later the afternoon after watching the lion cub playing with the females suddenly the large male lion appeared down the road and came towards the pride. This must be his pride as he greeted the cub and the females was eager to greet him back.
They spend the rest of the afternoon together in very good light and that made for some great wildlife photographic opportunities for our guests at B1 Photo Safaris.

Pride of lions with 3 large males on S21 amazing lion sighting in Kruger Park.
What a sighting we had with these lions on the S21 about 4km from the H4-1 on the 18th of March 2022 in Kruger National Park.
There were a couple of moments with a crocodile, buffalo and lions fighting over their own share. Incredible to see them in nature like this. Our guests were very happy with this game drive from Hazyview some days are just better than others for sure.

Lion pride with a family meal in Kruger National Park
Seen in Kruger National Park, South Africa on safari with Private Kruger Safaris
A lion pride was seen feeding on a Cape Buffalo carcass on the Salitje Road (S30) close to the local Hippo Pools the video is 39 min long and shows four days of sightings we had with different guests between 8 and 11 Augustus 2022.
For the last two days, a different pride of lions made a turn at the devoured carcass among them was an injured female lioness and three larger lion cubs. You can see the difference in the females as the first pride had very small still suckling cubs that joined the male lions on the carcass.
This was really a very special sighting due to the openness of the viewing ability.
Bernhard Bekker & Hennie Bekker was filming from different angles with different cameras this makes for a very nice perspective from everything that went down during the time spent at the sighting.

This pride of lion have a large male that does not like the younger male in his area. Normally that is how the young males are chased out and then left to fend for themselves or join a coalition in order to make changes better for survival for the young male lions.

Leopard dragging a fresh Impala kill struggles to hoist it up a tree in Kruger National Park.
Near Shingwedzi a while ago we encountered this amazing female Leopard she was dragging the Impalal carcass across difficult terrain and tried to hoist the kill into a tree but failed the first time.
A male Leopard was also spotted close to the same sight but she was aware of him and protected her kill. This was a very playful Leopard seen in Kruger National Park. It was a great signing to spend time with and let our guests get great photographs of the sighting.

While doing a 3-day Private Wildlife Photographic Safari exiting daily from Skukuza camp for B1 Photo Safaris the guide Hennie Bekker came across the scene of a huge crocodile trying to catch an impala antelope in the Sabie River.
He tried twice and the third time he was successful. Truly an unbelievable experience for the photography guest onboard and for the guide itself as this is something that most visitors to the Kruger Park don't really get to see, ever.
Once the crocodile got hold of the impala it was all over the poor eve did not stand a chance to get out of the grip around her leg.

Black Rhinoceros a very rare sighting, they are critically endangered in Southern Africa
When on safari in any wildlfie reserve and you see a wild black rhino that must be one of the best sightings ever as they are not so common and very difficult to spot as they spend most of their time in thick bush while feeding and resting.
Other names for the Black Rhino are Prehensile or hook-lipped rhinoceros.
The black rhinoceros, black rhino or hook-lipped rhinoceros is a species of rhinoceros, native to eastern and southern Africa including Angola, Botswana, Kenya, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, South Africa, Eswatini, Tanzania, Zambia, and Zimbabwe.

This happened in the middle of the day there was another male in the area and we think the female lioness was spooked and then decided to run before a fight broke out between the males.
