Bev was our tour operator. She made everything about our trip so easy and stress free. She put a plan together for us and within the day, the plan and itinerary was complete, with room to change if required. We changed the accommodation and pick up times a few times. Non of this was an issue. We ended up staying with one of the accommodations recommended by this tour group. We are super happy that we did and we upgraded. The lodge was so accommodating and friendly. welcome drinks provided with morning and evening game drives. The value for money was fantastic. A little more pricier than we anticipated, but we would do this over again. Food was provided and coffees and drinks were provided on the game drives, which we were not aware of, so this was a lovely surprise. Communication between myself and Bev was amazing. One of the best interactions iv had with a tour group and i travel for a living. I would 100% use this tour group again. Value for money, service, reliability, communication and the tours were incredible.

Almost ready to be able to share their guest experiences again.
💚 Phase 2 of the garden cleanup done!!! The garden is really shaping up nicely and is almost ready to welcome our guests.
❤ This beautiful sub-tropical garden is a bird lovers paradise and gets visited by various bird species everyday including trumpeter hornbills, purple crested loeries and sugar birds.
We even have a pair of african bush owls visiting the garden regularly!
💙 If you are very lucky you may even see the bushbabies that also visit the garden.
We can't wait to share our piece of bushveld heaven with you.

So, besides the lions, leopard, wild dog, elephants and general game sightings on day 1, day 2 delivers a Pangolin and a white lion. Wow, what a super amazing anniversary day for our wonderful guests Andy and Daisy. Let's see what the remaining 8 days bring 😃

Not often does one get to witness the brute force with which the male giraffes use their long necks during their "sparring" in order to establish dominance unlike "necking" which is a more subtle behaviour and occurs usually between a courting pair or between immature males practicing for adulthood. Video Clip 2 - Lioness Rescue
During this morning’s safari in Kruger, Marten together with our guests from Mackers Africamps, came across a pride of lions and noticed to their dismay that the one lioness was badly injured. Fortunately our guides have direct contact with the veterinary services whom Marten immediately alerted regarding the injured lioness. The veterinary services staff were on the scene within minutes. After darting her they transported her to the veterinary surgery for further treatment. Marten’s assistance was requested to load the lioness into the vehicle. A unique experience indeed.
