Nestled in sub-tropical coastal bush 100 metres from the beach, Kvalsvig Cottage provides a perfect holiday for families, groups of friends, nature-lovers, bird-watchers, or anyone looking for a relaxing getaway. The secluded, unspoilt and pet-friendly Munster beach at Dolphin Bay, combined with the lagoon and rock pools, provides magical seaside fun. A sandbank makes for gentle ocean swims at low

tide and a good shore-break at high tide for the more adventurous. It is also popular with anglers. The beach and estuary are clearly visible on Google Earth at 30º 59.9’S 30º 16.135’E. Dogs are permitted on the beach. Officially they should be on a leash but our beach is never very busy so you can let your dogs run free, as long as they don't run into the bush and disturb ground-nesting birds and other wildlife, or annoy people. The house is designed for easy living with spacious living areas and large sliding doors to outdoor sitting areas. The central courtyard provides a safe outside area for small children and dogs, and a sunny shelter from the wind on blustery days. There is a braai, a large, outside dining table for meals under the sun or stars, loungers and other outdoor furniture for sitting back and enjoying the peace, and a cold, outdoor shower for freshening up after the beach. The Wild Coast Casino, Mpenjati Nature Reserve, Umtamvuna Gorge and Nature Reserve, two world-class golf courses, and various shops, restaurants and pubs are all a short drive away. Kvalsvig Seaside Cottage is comfortably furnished and consists of:
Spacious open-plan lounge and dining area with 10-seater dining table, central fireplace and writing desk and chair for working. Open View TV channels, or DSTV if you BRING YOUR OWN DECODER AND SMART CARD
Main bedroom - double bed with built-in cupboard, chest of drawers, bedside tables
Main bathroom – toilet, hand basin, bath with shower attachment
Second bedroom – double bed, built-in cupboards, dressing table, bedside tables
Second bathroom - toilet and basin
Third bedroom off lounge/dining room – two single beds with built-in cupboard, chest of drawers
Fourth bedroom/children’s room – bunk bed for two + two single beds, built-in cupboard, 2 tables, toy box. Outside room – double bed, en suite shower, basin and toilet with free-standing cupboard and chest of drawers, tea/coffee station. Quality cotton bed linen is provided for all the bedrooms. Blow heaters and extra blankets for the rare cold night. Towels are NOT provided. BRING OWN BEACH AND BATH TOWELS. Kitchen with 4-plate gas oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, chest freezer, bar fridge, washing machine, toaster, kettle, pots and pans, cooking utensils, iron and ironing board
Crockery, cutlery and glasses for 12. Single garage with automatic door. Off-street parking for other cars. Burglar alarm with beams, Rapid Armed Response, burglar bars, security gates, street patrols and cameras.

This spacious 5 bedroomed beach house is a stone’s throw from a pet-friendly beach and lagoon, and borders a conservancy which is home to buck, monkeys, mongoose and an array of birds.

The house is designed for easy living with tiles throughout so no stress about sandy feet, an outside shower to wash off the sea-salt, and an enclosed courtyard whereto can soak up the sun or dine under the stars. Entertain family and friends around the braai, treat the kids to fun and games at the Wild Coast Casino Water Park, explore the Mpenjati Nature Reserve or Umtamvuna Gorge, or challenge your friends to a game of golf on one of the two world-class courses nearby.
