Yes I am BACK from the beautiful island, Mauritius !! 💕🌴

I was privileged to spend my 50th Bday celebration at Shandrani Beachcomber Resort & Spa with family and friends. From the moment we arrived we were greeted with smiles and already all rooms were allocated :: no paperwork ✅ Arriving in the evening the party atmosphere was already heating up on the dance floor and we headed to our Canapés table that was set out for us! 🌹Needless to say :: most of us danced the night away at the ‘disco’ until the early hours of the morning 💃🏼🕺

Day 2 ~ a BBQ dinner was set out on the beach for just our party ! Bonfire and a delicious variety of dishes made this whole setting picture perfect for an island style celebration. We had so many laughs :: I truly wish the speeches that were made were recorded 🤣😂🥰… lucky for us the ‘disco’ is open on a Friday and Saturday night, so after dancing to 🪩 80’s tunes at Blue bay bar we headed straight to the resorts’ disco afterwards🤩 !!

With a few days to recoup, enjoying the snorkeling and beaches this beautiful resort has to offer I decided to spice things up with an arranged cooking competition🥙🥯 Enjoyed by all!!! Did I mention who won the competition?? Yes, AGAIN !! 🤩🤩🤩Even though most think it was rigged 🥰😳😂🇲🇺

I had the best time EVER and so did the whole party! 🎉 We already talking about another reason to celebrate and go back ! 💕🤩

Shandrani is a magical resort and with a variety of restaurants to choose from I made sure we had reservations beforehand at each of the restaurants and enjoy the whole culinary experience !!

🌟 If u have any special celebration :: I highly recommend a DESTINATION party 🥳 🏝️

As I look back at some School Yearbooks something caught my eye-

What do you want to do one day, after school? ‘ I want to travel the world.’

At the age of 15 I never knew that this answer in my yearbook, would become my passion in life, and a career I love.

October 2000 I started Crossways Travel, and never looked back. The last 18 Years I have traveled extensively and love exploring, learning new cultures and making new friends along the way.
