Firefly Farm Cabin

Firefly Farm is a bit of paradise over looking the Greater St Lucia Lake, where the pelicans & flamingos fly over regularly. We offer a cozy self-catering cabin, with bedroom, en-suite bathroom, lounge, open plan kitchen & a deck that has spectacular views. Situated on a small indigenous bush farm, in traditional Zululand. We have Free Range Chickens, goats, pig, ducks, dogs and cats that roaming freely. The stars are spectacular, & you stand a good chance of hearing the drums of Africa. Please remember Mosquito repellent.

The Cabin sleeps 4 adults, 2 single beds with en suite bathroom (shower) and a sleeper couch that sleeps 2. Mattress is available on request. The lounge and the outside deck all look over the beautiful view of the Lake. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the basics for self catering. Whether on the braai (BBQ) outside or in the kitchen, you can whip up a delicious meal. Available on the farm is Firefly’s Free Range, Pasture fed chicken which you can purchase from us.

Situated in a birding paradise there is a self guided walk on the property, that you can take at your own leisure. There are numerous local activities including, cycling, birding, walking, game drives, tradition cultural tours, Songoma/tradition healer meetings, snorkeling, fishing, diving and guided or self guided game drives in the Big 5.

We have free range chickens, sheep, pigs, dogs and cats that roam around the property freely. Which will more than likely come for a friendly visit.
