Ndoto means "Dream" in Swahili - our dream of having a little piece of the bush to escape to from the hustle and bustle of everyday life! Ndoto Cottage is a self catering cottage that sleeps 4 people. The upstairs bedroom has a king size bed that can be made into 2 single beds. The bathroom upstairs is equipped with a shower and toilet, while the bathroom downstairs has a bath, toilet and outside
shower. The kitchen is fully equipped for self catering with an oven, microwave, kettle, toaster and fridge/freezer. Netflix and DSTV are available in the unit. The unit has WIFI for anyone wanting to do a bit of work while on holiday. Both bedrooms and the lounge have aircons for the hot summer days. The upstairs bedroom has a ceiling fan in addition to an aircon. The unit has a lovely enclosed garden with an outside braai and patio area where you can sit and watch the animals amble by while you sip on your sundowners. Alternatively, you can cool down in the splash pool! Hoedspruit Wildlife Estate is 640ha in extent with game viewer roads that can be driven in a normal sedan. Alternatively you can go for walks, run, cycle or horse ride on the estate. The estate is stocked with plains game and one can come across zebra, giraffe, impala, kudu, waterbuck, duiker, bushbuck, warthog, jackal, porcupine, bushbabies and monkeys to name a few. The estate is situated just outside the town of Hoedspruit and is close to all the amenities needed. Pick n Pay and Spar are close by and there are amazing restaurants all within 5-10 minutes drive from the estate. You can literally eat at a different restaurant every night for a week! The Drakensberg Mountain Escarpment is a stunning addition to the bushveld scenery and the Blyde Dam has a lot of activities to offer. The Kruger National Park is a 40 minute drive from the estate (closest gate is Orpen Gate). Moholoholo and the Hoedspruit Endangered Species Centre are close by for day visits. The Hoedspruit Reptile Centre is also well worth a visit especially for the kids! The world famous "Jessica the Hippo" is also just 20 minutes down the road from the estate.
