Africa is: The pounding of the drum The rhythm of the dance The songs we sing The stories we tell The history and culture of the African tribes comes to life at Nyani Cultural Village. An overview of the different activities: Full Cultural Experience The Full Cultural Experience includes the following: Limpopo Pathway Theatre Show is an original show, featuring the costumes, songs and dances of the San, Shona, Venda, Tsonga, Balobedu (Modjadji the rain Queen), Pedi and the Tswana. The show also includes the Swati and Zulu dances as these tribes played an influential part in the history of Limpopo. Following the show (approximately 60 minutes), the guests are led down to our Traditional Living Cultural Village where performers take the guests on a journey through the stages of life in a Shangaan homestead. Here the guests can experience the traditional practices from birth, through childhood up to marriage, after which a delicious lunch is served in the typical African style. Village Tour Experience The Village Tour Experience includes the following: Limpopo Pathway Theatre Show is an original show, featuring the costumes, songs and dances of the San, Shona, Venda, Tsonga, Balobedu (Modjadji the rain Queen), Pedi and the Tswana.
