We had the most amazing sighting on Safari in the Satara area of Kruger National Park. A lioness chased and hunted down a young Kudu Bull and I managed to get it all on video. After 17 years of guiding this was my fifth lion hunt but the first time i Actually caught it all on Camera. A bit shaky from all the excitement but i managed to keep the action in the frame.

🪰Lions, like many animals, produce sweat and natural oils that can attract flies and bugs. These insects are drawn to the moisture and salts in the sweat, making the lion an appealing target.

🦁Lions often have wounds or cuts from fights or hunting. These injuries can become breeding grounds for flies, which are attracted to the blood and tissue. Flies may lay their eggs in these wounds, which can lead to further irritation for the lion.
