Kristi's Kamp

Kristi's Kamp opened its fences to the greater Makalali Game Reserve just north west of Hoedspruit in 2008. Kristi's Kamp is a Big 5 self-catering camp that can host up to 12 Adults. The Kroon family acquired the farm in the 80's as a hunting and cattle farm and Gerrit and Marita Kroon had the dream to make the camp an income haven that can one day support their eldest child which the camp was nam

ed after with her brother Gerrit Jnr. The camp is child friendly and offeres other children the opportunity to share in a bush experience, in the way the Kroon children grew up, ensuring a love for the bush and to care for the environment. The 25000ha Greater Makalali Game Reserve is situated west of the Kruger National Park and is home to leopard, lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino and many other species.
