We had an exciting and heart-stopping moment with a very relaxed Elephant cow in Addo Elephant National Park!!
There were literally elephants everywhere and we had to slowly make our way through the herds to get back to camp!
Excitement all round :D

What a fantastic morning here in the Kalahari Desert. We spotted this 1.5m Cape Cobra while going for a walk. While explaining to my guests about cobras, our tracker spotted another cobra about 50m away and infront of this snake. We watched them for about 30 minutes while piecing the story together. It turned out this cobra (most likely a male) was following the other similar sized cobra (most likely a female)The cobra in front finally went into a hole and this snake made his way into the hole after her. I wonder what they where doing in there afterwards. 😉
Spoil yourself with a Hot-Air Balloon flight over Namib-Naukluf National Park!
Marveling over the red dunes of Sossusvlei, these views are just spectacular and are not to be missed! :)

Great sighting today of a territorial chase between a few male hippos. It’s amazing to see how powerful and aggressive these mammals can be.
Nothing can compare you for the breath taking chaotic scenes, noise and energy of witnessing the migration in full swing as you witness thousands of wildebeest and zebra on their annual circular route between the Serengeti and Masai Mara!

One of the Jewels of Tanzania, and world renowned, is the Ngorongoro Crater. A massive caldera 610m high with a surface area of 260km within the crater. The original height of the volcano was said to be around 5000m in height and exploded around 3 to 4 million years ago.
The Flora and Fauna within the crater is completely sustainable, housing around 25000 large mammals including the Big 5.
This place is a must for anyone wishing to embark on a Northern Tanzanian Safari! (Apologies for all the noisy tourists in the video 😉 )

The Fever tree forest. Absolute magic, hidden away from the general public in the Northern Kruger
Chimp trekking is something that should be on everyone's bucket list. Seeing our closest relative's in the wild is an unforgettable experience!! This footage was taken yesterday in Kibale Forest, Uganda. Who would have thought that wild habituated chimps would be comfortable so close to humans?
Following our trip, we have had the privilege of spending a few nights in the Southern section (Northern Cape) of the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park. With its red sand dunes, this semi-arid desert is home to herds of endemic antelope (Gemsbok, Springbok, Blue Wildebeest) as well as 58 other mammal species, reptiles and just over 300 bird species!! The views are just spectacular! Definitely one for the books :)
