Inspired by the roaring 20s, The Cabins have four opulent, yet modern and charming chalets nestled in the heart of the Hogsback forest. Surrounded by towering Silver Birch trees, our cabins Firefly, Cicada, Dragonfly and Honeybee each have their own unique character. Please note at our cabins are advertised separately on Airbnb as follows:

• The Cabins Hogsback – Honeybee Cabin (4/4)

The Cabins is located on 3.4 hectares surrounded by Hogsback’s pristine flowing hills and lush forests. The Cabins embrace nature and tranquility, with cheerful Cape Parrots, curious Samango monkeys and the elegant Knysna Loeries keeping you company. Situated just off the main village road, The Cabins are easy to find yet at a distance to enjoy absolute quiet. With the centre of the village located less than 2km’s away, you are a stone’s throw from the life of the village including quaint restaurants, a local craft brewery and the occasional Saturday morning market. Oh, and absolute no need to stock up the cooler box as there is a well-stocked grocery and liquor store in town. The Cabins are free standing and fully equipped. Each has a comfortable queen-sized bed (including a hot blanket for those crisp, wintery nights!), full-suite bathroom, kitchen complete with appliances and an indoor fireplace for that cosy, winter ambiance. Each cabin has its own balcony with outdoor braai/barbecue facilities overlooking vast natural landscapes, perfect for a morning brew or enjoying dinner under magical fairy lights. Guests also have access to a large 100m² deck fitted with a large pit braai perfect for a few sundowners and relaxing to nature’s peaceful sounds and glittering stars. Other things to please note
Please note that Hogsback certainly is a destination of “4 seasons in one day” so we recommend bringing clothes suited for summer and winter. Each cabin is equipped with a gas geyser, and we provide a bag of wood for each indoor fireplace and another on your balcony for your outdoor braai. Kitchens includes: fridge, microwave, induction stove plate, kettle and toaster, cutlery and crockery
Bathrooms includes: shower, basin and toilet

Can you believe it's already December?

This time of the year is definitely my favorite! I love seeing the blossoming trees and the swans, ducks and chickens roaming around, all eager for their morning snack.

We've been so fortunate this year to have had the most amazing guests (who feel like family) visiting us from all corners of the globe.

And guess what? After over a year, Lindsey's photos are finally ready to shine on Facebook. Isn't that exciting? 💚💚

The wind changed direction around lunch time and rain clouds are in the distance.
