We offer a large selection of special plants raging from Azaleas, Red Japanese Maples, Copper/green Beeches , Dogwoods, Tulip trees and a whole lot more. The gardens were established in 1939 by Mr Wilson from Wilson -Rowntree sweets for his wife. The magic of the garden has been handed down from each owner,each with their own special contribution. Herbert Wilson married his sweetheart from this co

unty and to make her feel at home , he named the property Applegarth and built a stone house for his young bride like the ones she was familiar with in Scotland.
