We had the privilege of meeting the team from ePropulsion, just as we had taken delivery of their X40 Electric Outboard Motor.
We can't wait to get out onto the water and silently explore the wonders of Africa's great rivers and lakes.

Our partnership with Vari Racing Brakes has enabled us to create a braking system that perfectly complements the performance and safety standards of our electric safari vehicles. From the design phase to the final installation, every step has been meticulously executed to ensure optimal functionality and reliability.
One of the added benefits of an electric vehicle is the ability to have regenerative braking from the dual electric motors. This combined with the limited speed, results in minimal wear and tear on the braking system and reduced maintenance over the lifetime of the vehicle. The Thula EV is built to last.

Thula Update:
Check out our mock dashboard, an early rendition that we have put together as we are integrating and testing various components. The layout and design will evolve as we refine the UX and feel of the car, but regardless it is exciting to see the various parts of the Thula EV taking shape!
The focus is to create a seamless driver experience prioritizing functionality and ease-of-use so that the guide can focus on what matters most, providing the best possible safari experience to their guests.

Exciting news at Thula Solutions! The team at Vertex Automation is currently constructing our first test chassis for the all-new purpose-built electric safari vehicle. The double ladder frame chassis is meticulously designed to accommodate batteries, ensuring an optimal centre of mass for top-tier performance. Every aspect of the car is purposefully crafted for the safari experience.
While this specific chassis won't venture into the bush, it signifies a crucial milestone for the new vehicle. Our partners, AIH Group, have been actively involved, documenting the entire process, and ensuring a streamlined manufacturing approach for future scalability.
The chassis will function as a test bench for our engineering team, evaluating constraints and tolerances in real-world conditions following extensive simulations.
We are thrilled to see this dream come to life and will be sharing more of our story as the pieces come together. Stay tuned for updates!

The launch started when our CEO, Mr Gary Davies, shared our seven-year journey behind Thula Solutions and our vision for the future. It was a proud moment as we reflected on our progress and the positive impact we strive to create.
We addressed common misconceptions about electric vehicles, including "Okavango Proof" water ratings and off-grid solar charging requirements, in our engaging FAQs session.
This session was followed by the opportunity to experience our prototype through a challenging 4x4 course. Demonstrating the immense off-road capabilities of an electric vehicle and getting a taste of a silent game drive.
We are truly grateful for the overwhelming support and interest shown by the entire bush community. Your presence and enthusiasm fuel our drive to push the boundaries and create the perfect game-drive experience.

Silent EVs in the Wild: respecting boundaries leads to remarkable experiences!
One of our most often-asked questions is how animals will react to EVs if they don't make any noise.
In our experience, if you respect their boundaries and allow them to approach you the experience is purely remarkable! It's also great not having to turn the car off at sightings before you can get in the zone!
Had a little fun today planning the official launch at the Kyalami - Landrover Experience. Still a bit more work to do but we will get you a date soon enough!
We had an amazing visit to Arusha, Tanzania, where we had the opportunity to tour the E-motion Africa factory and meet with the newly appointed Minister of Culture, Arts and Sports, Dr Phindi Shana. We were excited to see firsthand the progress being made towards sustainable electric transportation in the region and were impressed by the enthusiasm shown towards sustainable tourism by the Tanzanian government.
During our visit, we had the chance to deepen our relationship with our partners in Tanzania and explore opportunities for further collaboration in the future. We believe that partnerships like these are crucial to driving sustainable development where we can share experience and facilities to drive towards a greener future.

From the rocky slopes of Singita's Lebombo Mountains to the flooded Sand River, our vehicle demonstration tour through the Greater Kruger could not have been more spectacular. Even the uncharacteristically late rains in May couldn't dampen the excitement felt when testing out our Electric Safari Vehicle.

A great week’s road testing. We are still slowly releasing power with the software controls. We reached 135km/h on the flat road test and will possibly cap it out at that speed, no need to take our guests any faster. We will bringing the vehicle to Johannesburg next week and it will be available for public testing. Stay tuned and will publish a booking system soon
Its now getting very real as we complete our first week of field tests. The vehicle surpassed even my expectations in terms of performance and comfort. The ability for passengers to converse with one another even whilst travelling at 70km/h is wonderful and the ability now to connect a ranger to his guests whilst driving is going to be a game changer. We are going to be releasing more details in terms of pricing and availability in the next week, stay tuned.

We are on the final phase of production of what we hope to be the ultimate electric game viewing vehicle. The BRV Thula Solutions E viewer. Inspired by the concept of creating a lighter footprint on earth, we spent the past five years perfecting the electric drive chain to power this beast. The vehicle is silent and emits no fossil fuel odours, that typically disturb game sightings. We have 20% more power that any existing Gameviewer and have designed the vehicle with comfort in mind. The suspension and chassis have been carefully crafted to maximise ride comfort. Below video hihghlights how we have rengineered the windscreen for better viewing and driver comfort
Slowly getting there. Just a quick teaser, as we measure up the seating of what will be the first bespoke electric 4x4 gameveiwer in the world. History in the making here. Our team is working around the clock to get this out before Christmas. The biggest milestone was developing a suspension system designed specifically for passenger comfort and our engineers have nailed it. Watch this space.
So excited about how things are starting to pan out. It has not been without challenges. The steel strike has lost us three weeks, the global shipping supply chain is running four weeks behind. Despite these set backs we are undeterred and are forging ahead in our production. We have missed our November launch date but there was a time when I thought we would not even make this year but suppliers and investors have rallied around the project and we are on target to have our working model completed before the end of the year. I am guessing the fact that the two largest market cap automotive companies are EV companies has increased focus on our brand and what we are hoping to achieve. Many thanks for the patience and support, I am sure it will be well worth it to everyone.
