Hello Kruger Lovers, we need your help ♥️

I’ve been at 3 lion sightings this week, and at each one, I’ve noticed visitors blaring lion calls over their car stereos, in order to get the lions to sit up so they can take a photo.

It’s not just this week though, I’ve noticed this at about 90% of lion sightings in general.

Doing this, is exceptionally cruel, and unbelievably traumatizing for the lions. Especially when it’s young males (like the ones pictured below) who are terrified already, and trying to avoid other males. The same can be said about lionesses with cubs.

Dalene Preston says she’s heard that visitors do this at leopard sightings as well.

This sort of behavior is really unethical, and I beg all of you to report it, if you witness it, and also to inform the visitors that what they’re doing is wrong.

I have already reported it to Sanparks, but I believe that we all want to protect our wildlife in Kruger, and therefore we can do our part, by advocating for it as best as we can.
