Since founding the business Wea van Heerden and Sally Satchel have grown The Assessment Toolbox into one of the biggest and most competitive independently owned assessment companies in South Africa. Our team now consists of 11 permanent staff across 2 offices, with a reliable and competent network of approximately 20 associates right across the country. This enables us to regularly work in all the major centres of South Africa, including neighbouring countries – thereby delivering a seamless service to our clients. Our dedication to delivering high quality work, coupled with passion for assessments have enabled us to do work with over 280 distinct clients in the last 8 years – these clients are from all sectors of the economy, from engineering and mining to financial services to motor industry. Since 2010, we have significantly expanded our footprint in the public sector. Many of the clients who were our first clients, are still with us and numerous of these relationships are in their 8th year. This proves our ability to be consistent, reliable and do work that meets and exceeds the needs and requirements of clients.

With a career that started as an internal auditor at Sanlam and a remarkable tenure at Deloitte Cape Town, where he gained extensive local and international consulting experience in strategy and innovation, Attie brings a wealth of expertise to everything he does.

Today, he wears two hats as the Managing Director of both Assessment Toolbox and Ignite Advisory Consulting. Known for his hands-on approach, Attie plays an active role in day-to-day operations, always leading by example. His unique leadership style is a perfect blend of listening, understanding, and steering his team to success.

She joined The Assessment Toolbox in 2018 on a part-time basis, quickly proving herself indispensable and earning a promotion to Office Manager that same year. Ever since, she’s been our resident “Chaos Controller,” keeping things running smoothly and ensuring our team stays connected and thriving.

When she’s not juggling a million tasks flawlessly, you’ll often find her brightening the office with her friendly chats and infectious laugh. Andi truly is the glue that holds us all together!

Armed with a BSS, BSS Honours, and MSS in Psychology from Rhodes University, plus a BPsych Equivalence from Nelson Mandela University, Aimee's expertise is unmatched.
