Our Story

We are Hendre & Bennebe, the Founders & Owners of Heartbeats of Africa, a small ethical touring company based in Johannesburg and Pretoria. We are truly motivated supporters of conservation and preserving our magnificent Nature & Wildlife, and having worked in the tourism industry for nearly 11 years, allowed us to witness almost every aspect that the SA tourism “world” has to offer, from the very best, to the (unfortunately) absolute worst.

So with a hunger to do what is right, our combined knowledge & experience to achieve this and the conviction to support Pro-Conservation Parks, Establishments, Sanctuaries / Wildlife Rehab’s that operate ethically & in the best interest of the animals in their care and not exploiting them for public amusement and profit, Heartbeats of Africa was born and registered.
