SherSha’ Structures has built a reputation in the formwork Industry, previously trading as SherSha’ Investments, we have prided our selves on impeccable work ethic, quality work and timeous presentation. SherSha’ Investments was started in 1999, by Gordon Govender, who had a vision, ambition, determination and a workforce of 20 men. Through Gordon’s hard work an
d perseverance, SherSha’ Investments had become one of the most sought after formwork companies in KZN, building structures for the likes of JT Ross and Group 5 in Kwa-Zulu Natal. After the increasing demand for his work Gordon decided to extend the company to Gauteng in 2000, where his sons Sherimo and Shaolin headed up the Gauteng projects. In 2004 whilst on site one tragic afternoon, Gordon who was inspecting his work slipped and past away, while doing the work he was so passionate about. In 2004 after Gordon’s passing Sherimo Govender and his mum Ragini Govender took on the tedious task of heading up the business and moving it entirely to Gauteng, in doing so Sherimo made his own niche in the market doing landmark projects such as the OR Tambo Airport International Wing, The SAFA Building at the FNB Stadium, The Avory Shlain Building in Midrand but to name a few. After creating a name for ourselves in the Gauteng Construction Industry, Shersha Investments had decided to open a new entity, in 2008, aptly named Shersha Structures. We currently have 200 people in our employ, 12 Skilled Foreman’s, 100 Skilled workers in the form of Shutter hands, Carpenters & Welders, 2 contracts managers and 3 qualified project managers. Safety:
A safe working environment and safety of our workers are of paramount importance as this is the foundation of Shersha Structures. It is always safety first on and of site.
