This week, we saw an increase in Bonefish activity on the flats, with both small pods and large singles cruising the shallows. Many fish were spotted feeding in ankle-deep water, creating thrilling visuals as anglers managed to land good numbers. The average size of the Bonefish this week ranged between 5 and 7 pounds, with a couple of 8-pounders making their way into the net.

Welcome to our fourth week of the season, where we had the pleasure of hosting a group from Westbank Anglers out of Jackson Hole, Wyoming, eager to spend two weeks with us on the atoll.

The conditions were slightly challenging at times, with a fair bit of wind, cloud cover, and minimal rain. However, we were back into the neap tides, and the Permit were out in great numbers. Our guests were ready to dive in and make the most of it!

St. Brandon's Atoll hosts an exceptionally healthy population of Indo-Pacific Permit. This past season, our guests relished countless opportunities to target these mesmerizing fish, with many successfully landed. Here, our guest Chris proudly displays a fin-perfect Permit he fooled with a self-tied fly while fishing a sand spit. It truly doesn’t get any better than this!
