Adopt An Animal🐾

Animal adoption is fun and you can adopt any animal, no matter how big or small. The Adoption Programme allows individuals, corporations, schools, clubs, families, and groups to get involved and make a valuable contribution to the care and enrichment of all the animals at the Johannesburg Zoo. The adoption fees help us care for the animals, and the funds also support the protection of endangered species.

Animal of the month
🦒 The zoo houses 5 Giraffes. Madolo (11 years), Gia (12 years), Michelle (5years) & Buhle (6 years), and eight month old Dani
🦒 Giraffes can create sounds, even though they are mostly silent. Males have a harsh coughing sound while females can whistle to summon their young. Giraffes may hiss, snort, and grunt as well.
🦒 The gestation period is approximately 15 months, a calf will fall to the ground from almost two meters as the mother gives birth on her feet.
🦒 Giraffe calf can stand half an hour after being born
🦒 Giraffes don’t need much sleep

- For online bookings: Log into your Webtickets profile, go to "My Order History," and select "Reschedule Tickets."
- For PnP bookings: Follow the same steps or email [email protected].
- For venue purchases: Log into your Webtickets account or email [email protected]. Limited reschedules are available onsite.
To REQUEST A REFUND:*
-Log into your Webtickets profile, select ‘My Tickets,’ then ‘CHOOSE ACTION’ and ‘REFUND TICKETS.’ Enter your banking details if you paid via Pick n Pay or EFT. Refunds will be processed in 7-10 working days. We look forward to celebrating together in the future!
