Next level 🥰 most incredible footage of a rhino calf drinking from mom.

Every day we work with rhino orphans who had their Moms taken from them. Every day we make anything upwards of 40 bottles of milk. Every day we dream of a time when these orphans have calves of their own who will not need human intervention and care. For Twinkle and her first daughter, this dream has come true.

Help us in the fight to keep these beautiful animals alive and thriving. Apply now www.volunteersa.com

MOST AMAZING FOOTAGE OF RHINO CALF BIRTH Apply to volunteer with us. www.volunteersa.com

A new birth at Care for Wild Rhino Sanctuary in South Africa, we are extremely humbled and privileged to be able to share this incredible footage with you.

9 year old white rhino cow Olive, gave birth to a male calf at 07:50 this morning. For the first time, the birth was captured on video by Olive’s guard. Despite keeping his distance, Olive remained close to her long term protector throughout the early stages of labour and kept him close during delivery. This is an unbelievably special moment to see this precious new life take his first breaths. By the grace of God, we welcome this miracle to the world.

Olive was orphaned in 2013 after poachers killed her mother. She was just 10 months old when she was rescued and brought to Care for Wild. Olive was one of the first rhinos to complete her rehabilitation program and enter the re-wilding and release program. Her little son has become the third calf born to two orphans of poaching making Storm a father for the third time. Another light, another sign of hope for the species.

International Zebra Day is observed on January 31 every year to create awareness about the need to protect the wild animal. Zebras are the most iconic of all Africa's grazing animals. They are generally found in the semi-desert areas of Kenya and Ethiopia other than the hilly region in Namibia, Angola and South Africa
