Getting distracted is human so sometimes we're going to need a little extra help to help us avoid distractions.
Some helpful online tools for eliminating distractions are :
โข IFTTT: If This Then That. This is a great tool to schedule reminders and/or automate tasks. For example, if you have a meeting in 2 hours, set an alert for 30 minutes before your meeting to take a 15-minute break.
โข SelfControl: This is a great way to block distracting sites for a set amount of time. It's available for Mac and PC. Make sure you don't literally lock yourself out of your PC, though! :)
โข Freedom: Freedom is another very popular app that blocks distractions on your computer unless you can tell it what to allow (very simple user experience). It's compatible with Windows, Mac, and Linux.
