🌟 It’s been a ridiculously quiet social media season on my end – my bad! But it’s been a beautiful, busy time supporting some amazing little humans and their incredible families. 💕

Thank you to all the families I’ve had the privilege to support this year, and to my own for being so understanding of my unpredictable hours and no-shows at events.

Looking ahead to 2025, my goal remains the same: support, support, support. To your mind, your heart, your goals, and always, your journey through birth. 💖

No matter how we birth, I’m here for you!

Wow!!! It’s been quite an eventful night for this doula! A first time mama called saying she had started contracting immediately ! We decided to meet at the birthing unit where she was fully dilated!!!!!!!!!! And on the dot at 5:00am a beautiful 3.9kg darling was born! Epic epic epic!

💓 a few days late to post this spectacular birth! I met with this amazing couple 6 years ago! And I’ve been the luckiest doula to support all 3 of their incredible births 🥲! A beautiful cherub arrived just before midnight last night! So wonderful to be back at Parklane again! This beautiful family only contacted me on Tuesday and by Wednesday her membranes ruptured 💙💕 it’s never to early or too late to have support! Can’t wait for cuddles

🌟 Exciting news from Birth on 5th! We recently had the privilege of witnessing an “en caul” birth, and let me tell you, it was nothing short of amazing! The mom showed incredible strength and resilience throughout the entire birthing process, making it an unforgettable experience for everyone involved. This rare occurrence happens when a baby is born while still inside the intact amniotic sac, creating a truly magical and breathtaking moment. It’s like a baby being born in its own little bubble! En caul births are incredibly rare, occurring in less than 1 in 80,000 births. It’s a fascinating phenomenon that showcases the beauty and wonder of childbirth.✨ 🌊👶

🎉 Today was an incredibly special day as I got to welcome a precious little boy into the world! 💙 Being a part of his family’s birth journey was truly mind-blowing. I’ve delivered babies for family friends before, but this experience was on another level. Knowing this beautiful family for over 20 years and seeing one of my best friends become a granny (Nana) was remarkable! The strength and confidence shown by the mama throughout her pregnancy and delivery filled me with pride. Welcome to the world, little one! 💙 Aunty Kat already loves you so much. Huge thanks to .moola and for the amazing birthing experience, and to aunty Ru and for the post-birth cuddles when I was a sobbing mess! 😂 Mommy was checked out a few hours after birth and I couldn’t wait to check in and have a another cuddle 💙My heart is bursting with happiness. 🌟

🌟 So good to be back at Linkwood! 🌿 I’m excited to be here, ready to support another beautiful journey into parenthood. Excitement is in the air as we await the arrival of this precious little one! It’s either a he or she, one thing’s for sure - there’s a whole lot of love and anticipation surrounding he or she arrival 💫 And to top it off, celebrating such a special birth during Doula Week is truly magical! 🎉✨ It’s a reminder of the incredible role doulas play in providing compassionate care and support during this momentous occasion. 🌸👶🏽🌟

The youngest employee of Cuddles & Co turns 6 today! I can’t believe how big my youngest is getting! I share this every year and every time I read it I still cry my eyes out!

❤️ what a birth! From mama arriving in a fit of giggles not thinking she was in active labor we were all in shock that she was already 8cm 😳😳🤣 it’s not often I’m speechless!!! She birthed like a goddess and we welcomed a gorgeous 3.7kg bundle of cuteness! I’m so privileged to have been a small part of their first and now second journey into parenthood! Happy 4th trimester you wonderful family 🌟

it was beyond amazing to have been welcome back to your stunning birthing unit with open arms, love, coffee and giggles ❤️
