For Les, his first flying experience started in 1978 when his father Les Lebenon Snr took flying lessons and bought his first aircraft after 1 hour of training. He knew then that aviation was in his blood, built radio control planes and was schooled by the best, the Howes family. Thanks to his father, he begun helicopter training at 15 and received his helicopter license at 17, the yo

ungest helicopter pilot in South Africa. He used to fly to school before he had a driver’s license. His fixed wing license was obtained when in the air force and at that time not many pilots had both fixed wing and rotor wing experience. His father stressed to Les that aircraft were dollar based assets and that he could never go wrong with buying and selling aircraft. Since 1997, he has bought and sold more than 400 helicopters and fixed wing aircraft and strives to be the best, giving his customers the best value and satisfaction for their investment. Marshall Eagle’s customer base is not a once off buy or sell, but a comeback to upgrade to their essential needs. It is Marshall Eagle Aviation’s goal to become the biggest and most preferred aircraft sales organisation in the country.
