When someone contacts us for a pipe locator, our first question is - what are the pipes made of?

In the Cable and Pipe Locators with a transmitter you always get a magnet for induction into metal pipes.

If plastic or any other pipe material is to be detected, then one needs the UM112 accessory for use with the transmitter.
The UM112 is supplied with the TPT-522N and optionally available with the AG319N and G kits.

Alternatively using a Sonde on the front of a drain rod and one of the kits with transmitters ending in a "G" is required.

As always, access to the "dead" cables and pipes is necessary for direct induction.
