Bafute (Pty) Ltd is the result of 36 years of continues evolution and growth in the local business services environment and is a multi-facet service business, offering and supplying quality services in washroom hygiene, pest control and cleaning. Throughout our 36 year journey we have benefited from and remain today owner managed. This simple fact has meant that we have always had the ability to react quickly to changing market needs and requirements and ensured a client first attitude...We are not only proud but humbled to say that we still retain some clients from those early years now. We at Bafute are proud to say that we can trace our origins back to 1979 when the company was first established an ablutions deep cleaning services company. Longevity what does that say about a business? While age alone can’t speak about the path a company has taken during it existence, the success and failures seen, nor the staff and management of past days, it certainly says something about its ability to adapt to changes in market and client needs and brings not only history and tradition but the certain knowledge that its management, its structures and its systems were sound throughout the journey, yes longevity has much to say about a company and ensures stability for its clients and staff in the future. Throughout our 36 years we have benefited from and remain owner managed today. Even so, 36 years is a long time and unlike a ‘corporate’ where senior management changes go unnoticed, such change and evolution within an owner managed business is often ‘by its nature’ more complex requiring a change of ownership to facilitate. The current management team (who have collectively 60 years of industry experience) have owned and managed the business since 2012 and represent the 3rd generation of owner managers since 1979. While not only mindful but respectful of our obligation to history, it was clear to us that the company needed a makeover and shortly then after in 2013 the hard decision to change the company’s name was made and implemented to better place it in today’s market. Somethings just don’t and can’t change though and the hands on, owner driven philosophy to customer service and dynamic approach to changing market and client needs is as entrenched today as it has ever been, if anything even more so.
