It's been a year where emotions have run high, insults have flown cruelly, laughter has been more raucous than usual and every nerve in the body seems taut and ready to break. Tears have flowed more than laughter has rung out and hearts have been hurt. But.. my dogs still love me, my husband still likes me (I think) and I haven't put on any weight. So I will float gently into the new year saying bless you my dear friends who have cheered me up and made it all worth while.
