HANDY TIPS! Process for Namibian Border entry.

-Arrive at the South African border where you exit.
-Go to the immigration office FIRST on the South African side then proceed to the Police clearance office. Once this is done you will proceed to the gate to exit the south african border. At the gate they will scan your vehicle's license disc. You need to have proof from the bank of ownership of your vehicle, your original vehicle license papers (the one you cut out your vehicle license disc) and your vehicle insurance papers. All papers should be certified. You also require a ZA sticker for your vehicle.
-If you are travelling with kids, please have their original birth certificates.
-You will then proceed to the Namibian border side.
-FIRSTLY there will be a office where they need to scan your temprature. Here you will also fill out a small paper and they will scan your passports. Please keep your passports with you. Do this FIRST before going to the immigration office. If you dont do this, they will send you back and you will need to fall in the que again.
-After you have been scanned then you need to take the paper you received at the scanning office with you and proceed to the immigrations office. Here you will need to fill out a A5 form for each person travelling with you. Please complete the form and then match each form with the travellers passport by just putting the form inside the applicable persons passport.
-Once they have captured your details you will need to go to RFA office for your cross border permit. There you will be charged a fee of around R500 for the permit. Once this is done you may proceed to the gate where you will enter Namibia.

IMPORTANT

-Keep all forms and slips you fill in, because some of them you need to hand in.
-Please take a PEN
