PASSPORT APPLICATION
FOR CITIZENS OUTSIDE
ZIMBABWE

– For citizens residing in South Africa / outside Zimbabwe to obtain a new passport, individuals must complete a passport application form obtained at the Consulate.

Originals and photocopies of the following documents are required-:
Old passport (if renewing an old passport)
• Long birth certificate
• ID
· Marriage certificate (where applicable)

Cost:

One passport application form costs R300.00
paid at the Consulate.

Submission:

The completed forms must then be submitted at any of the Offices in Zimbabwe.

Upon submission in Zimbabwe, a payment as indicated below will be required for processing the passport.

The processing period is:

6 weeks for a US$50-00 payment

3 days for a US$250-00 payment

1 day for a US$325-00 payment

NB: There is NO submission at the Consulate.

ONE COURIER will deliver your forms home within 24hrs at affordable rates.

– For children born in South Africa /
outside Zimbabwe to obtain a
Zimbabwean birth certificate, the
parents or parent (in case of single
parents) must complete a birth
certificate application form obtained at
the Consulate.
Originals and photocopies of the
following documents are required-:
# #. Child’s birth record / clinic card / and
(Unabridged birth certificate from South
African Home Affairs – if available.)
# # Mother’s birth certificate
• Mother’s ID
• Mother’s passport
• Father’s birth certificate
• Father’s ID
• Father’s passport
• Marriage certificate (where
applicable)

A single parent can also apply for the
child’s birth certificate by producing
their documents only.
Costs
Birth certificate form costs R110.00
paid at the Consulate.
Submission
The completed forms must then be
submitted at any of the following Birth
Offices in Zimbabwe; Bulawayo,
Gwanda, Gweru or Harare.

On submission in Zimbabwe, a
payment of USD50.00 will be required
for processing of the birth certificate.
The processing period takes 1 day in
Harare and up to one month at other
offices depending on the number of
forms received at a particular time.
NB: There is NO submission at the
Conunsulate. ONE COURIER will deliver your forms home within 24hrs at affordable rates.
