Shipping cargo has become very difficult, due to Carrier Lines being delayed at various Ports along their established routes and via Hub Ports. Delays or vessels arriving at destination Ports due to congestion or simply breakdowns of discharge cranes makes the illusion of of passenger train like regularity of reliability of the services a myth. The B/L terms and conditions protects the carriers but offer no compensation to shippers that suffer delay of their time sensitive cargoes. Disorganized ports and congestion delays harm international trade more than we expect.
