African style and taste to the forefront and be judged for its uniqueness and a nation born only 20 years ago. Whilst Jacksons Republic takes pride in our home-grown resources - we operate on a "green" philosophy - remaining consciously aware that we are part of a world that has limitations of resources and a responsibility towards the sustenance for future generations. From the use of recycled wood in the built - to our menu designs and billing options - we have exercised this balance in responsibility with the utmost care. Our Gourmet dining experience - caters for the traveller on the run to a family that wishes to take in a classy airport experience and has a few minutes to spend. Whatever you call us - it will never be "a typical airport restaurant". Our shop is divided into an express section - Jacksons on the Go - where healthy sandwiches are available served on a variety of breads, state of the art Cuppachino, Coffee and Tea options, cold offerings ranging from Smoothies to Beer are available on the "Go"
The next section is the Restaurant section - with a 90% view of the OR Tambo Tarmac as well as an intimate dining section. The menu served here is gourmet - ranging from Burgers to Salads, catch of the day and steaks. The third section - on the mezzanine floor is our Sushi Bar. With a dedicated Sushi Chef - Jacksons is able to serve fresh offerings from 11am - 8pm. Adjoined to an infinity bar - with a dedicated bar man - the experience of the Sushi Bar is in itself unique.
