Sakkies Arkie Sunset Cruises

Climb aboard the Arkie from 17:30 and enjoy 1½ hours cruising the river to experience the breathtaking sunset and bird life of our Orange River. There is a fully licensed bar on-board available for snacks & alcoholic beverages to people above the age of 18 years. The Arkie has a lower deck and upper deck with ablution facilities and can accommodate up to 50 guests. Co

eg. Valentines cruises etc.) The River Taxi is available to take people on short cruises any time of day. It also serves as a shuttle to bring guests to and from guesthouses along the river. The River Taxi comes in handy as a shuttle during festival times of the year.

2. Sakkies Arkie Riverside Facilities

• Families can enjoy a casual riverside day while relaxing in our swimming pool or having lunch under the shaded braai facilities.
• Sakkies watersports provide entertainment for the children and young at heart which include water snake rides, tubing, skiing and knee boarding.

• Campsite are suitable for caravans or tents and have electrical & water points. Sites are equipped with braai facilities and public ablution is available.
