REVIEW OF THE TOUR
We have thoroughly enjoyed our first Pinnacle 9 Tour.
The Tour was well organized and we felt safe and secure travelling with Johan and Annette’s knowledge and experience of the areas covered.
Their caring, willingness to help and support of all of us on the Tour was very much appreciated.

The only stop over camp that would not be repeatable for us would be East Gate Camp. Even though the ablutions were good, the power points were limited and the noise throughout the night from the Border Guards as well as the drone of traffic was unfortunate. We would recommend re thinking this stop for future tours.

Kaoka Mopani has potential to be a good stop over and while the owner was very willing to assist he appeared overwhelmed by the size of the group.

Kariespruit was perfect as a stop over.

We thoroughly enjoyed Cape Cross
( another site an extra day would have been great. )

Brandberg White Lady Lodge had great sites and adequate facilities.

The group that we toured with were all very relaxed, friendly, considerate and supportive and we all got on well. The Sheriff was great fun and this all added to our enjoyment.

PERSONAL HIGHLIGHTS:
Epupa Falls, Etosha Safari and Spitzkoppe were the highlights of the tour for us and the two night stays at these camps were welcome opportunities to appreciate the spectacular landscapes.

Epupa Falls was well equipped and the camp was spectacularly positioned above the Falls.

Etosha Safari Camp was the most comfortable, well equipped and well organized. The ambience at the restaurant was very enjoyable and the meal excellent. Our last delicious dinner here was fabulous , fun and appreciated. Thank you!

Spitzkoppe camp was fabulous and surprised us with bathroom facilities .

We have thoroughly enjoyed this Kaokoland / Demara Tour and will always treasure special memories.

We are Gung Ho for our next Pinnacle 9 Tour.

Kaokoland toer:
Wat ‘n voorreg was dit weereens om saam met Johan en Annette ‘n toer mee te maak en die keer deur Noord Namibië.
‘n Harde goed beplande toer, maar wat tog van tyd tot tyd met konsensus aangepas moes word. Alhoewel die paaie nie baie voertuig vriendelik is nie, was die prys wat daarvoor betaal word absoluut opgemaak deur die prag van Noord Namibië en sy mense.
Die langafstande tussen besienswaardighede maak dit moeilik om in binne ‘n kort toer tyd alle mooi behoorlik te absorbeer. Nogmaals was alles die moeite werd.

Hoogtepunt was Epupa Falls en Spitzkoppe.
Dankie Johan en Anette vir die waardige wyse waarop jul ons hanteer met die afgelope 6 toere saam met julle waarvan twee deur Paul (mede toerleier) hanteer was.
Julle het vir ons die ruimte geskep om ALLES op die toere te absorbeer, verwerk, waardeer en te deel.
Net tyd sal leer wanneer en watter toer ons weer met jul sal meemaak.
Ons wens jul alle voorspoed en veilige reise toere toe met jul opkomende toere.

Thank you for your professional approach and guidance, never to little, never to much. We enjoyed the 3 days at every camp and we could really relax. The sundowner cruise at Chobe were the BEST and the Mokoro ride's silence complimented the serene surroundings, something you can do nowhere else.

Our highlights were the Pel's Fishing Owl and all the other owls at Guma, camping wild with animals and birds all around you, the Elephants at Elephant Sands and the Mokoro ride were STUNNING!!!

Die toer was baie goed georganiseerd met vriendelike en persoonlike diens deur Johan en Annette. Die hele groep was baie vriendelik, behulpsaam en plat op die aarde mense. Daar was genoeg tyd vir elkeen om sy/haar eie ding te doen, 'n voorbeeld was dat ek en Liesel ons fotografie kon beoefen, al was ons en Francois die enigste in die verband.

Ons hoogtepunte was dat dit 'n toer was sonder enige verantwoordelikheid en kommer en ons het altyd baie veilig gevoel saam met Johan en Annette wat belangrik is op ons ouderdom, die gees was heeltyd lekker in die groep, die bootritte veral by Chobe en Ngepi was besonders asook die Visuil by Guma.

We have enjoyed our second Pinnacle 9 tour, there was lots of fun and laughter everyday and especially in the evenings. Our highlights were not getting stuck in the sand on the road to Guma Lagoon, the Mokoro ride were brilliant, the pool at Guma and the helicopter ride over the Delta.

We look forward to our next Pinnacle 9 tour, thank you Johan and Annette for super memories.
