Buffelsbaai:

This is this little seaside village of Buffelsbaai. Located about 20kms from Knysna. Buffelsbaai lies within a National Park Reserve and boasts with long white beaches. On the eastern side lies the bay area, a popular spot for families that enjoy a swimming beach. It's also the hub for surfers, knee boarders and stand up paddlers. The wildside, to the west boarders on the Goukamma MPA, a haven for fisherman, beachcombers, hikers and bird watchers.
A perfect place to spend a day, from sunrise to sunset.

Featherbed Co. gives visitors to the Garden Route ‘an unforgettable experience on the Knysna Lagoon’. The Lagoon, more accurately defined as an estuary, has five fresh water rivers flowing in from the surrounding Outeniqua Mountains meeting with the surge of sea water from the Indian Ocean through the mighty headlands – known as the ‘Knysna Heads’ - the grand sandstone cliffs towering above the entrance to the Knysna Lagoon.

There are various family activities in Knysna, of which Featherbed Co. offers several unique activities. Included is our own private nature reserve & trail, restaurants and a fleet of various boats. We can offer activities such as cruising the lagoon, nature trails and hiking the Knysna Heads, as well as hosting private functions, conferences, and weddings at any of our venues.

Our boating fleet includes a one-of-a-kind Paddle Cruiser, the famous John Benn.

The Harbour Knysna Quays is a picturesque little harbour in the heart of the waterfront. Being a recreational harbour you will find the idyllic atmosphere that can only be associated with Knysna's uniqueness.
You can berth your boat in a safe environment a few miles up the Knysna Lagoon without having the stress of stormy weather and a strong surge.
Wake up with the smell of breakfast from the restaurants on your doorstep. We offer berthing facilities which includes fresh water and electricity points with every berth. Included in your package is ablution facilities about 40 meters from your boat.
We can accommodate yachts up to 15 meters with a draft up to 2 meters. The facilities cater for smaller speedboats as well. Boats can be left here safely for the winter period.
