Yesterday we wanted to place a top up order with our BOERSEEP supplier Chantelle.
It was a huge shock when her husband informed us that Chantelle died this week, shortly after giving birth to her baby. This is absolutely tragic and a great loss to everyone who knew her. One cannot imagine the excruciating pain and sorrow her husband and children are going through.

Chantelle farmed with her husband and homeschooled her 5 children near Loeriesfontein. She was well known in the Northern Cape, and throughout South Africa. It was during the crushing drought in 2021, that she started making and selling soap products, which got the family and the farm through the extreme difficult times.

It's because of her story that we decided to support her business a few weeks ago, because we knew our customers would love her products.
We will continue to support the family, who said that they will continue Chantelle's business for the sake of her legacy.
