Fun facts about Addo Elephant National Park :
A home to over 600 plus Elephant population

Some Elephants were relocated from Knysna from almost going extinct due to being shot and killed by the woodcutters in 1930s

Situated 30 kilometers outside Port Elizabeth (Gqeberha)

Declared a national heritage site in 1931

Home to the big 7 including Whales and Penguins

686000 hectares of land(1640 square kilometres)

Within Addo,there are over twenty private game reserves

Addo is surrounded by Sundays river,fastest flowing river it's about 250 kilometers in distance pouring into the Indian ocean

Third largest national park out twenty national parks in South Africa

Two female lions have been introduced to Addo

Addo offers day game drives from self drives from the public,it offers overnight stays

My guests have been from the first day,where they can buy dried fruits.

So I made a stop in Montagu for then to fulfill their wishes.

If you plan to visit the caves,Make a booking before visiting.

It's packed ,on arrival you are told to wait for two hours if you haven't booked.

Our day started from the game lodge after the early morning game drive,enjoyed breakfast.

Thereafter headed to Cape Agulhas,explored the rocky coastline and took pictures.

Of we went to Cape Town for First Thursdays.

FIRST THURSDAYS IN CAPE TOWN:a cultural and social event which sees party goers,socialites and people who are into art galleries .

Enjoy the start of warm summer evenings with a great variety of exhibition openings, and some continuing shows that offer a last chance to catch up before they finish.

From the heart of the city centre to the bustling streets of Cape Town’s seriously cool suburb of Woodstock: the city’s galleries are bursting with life and, as always, great art.
