Brenton Bushbuck Lookout is a short walk to the Brenton blue flag beach and the hotel with its restaurant overlooking the 5km stretch of pristine beach to Buffalo Bay. Enjoy stunning sunsets while sipping sundowners or watch the dolphins surfing the waves.Brenton on Sea is a friendly and safe neighbourhood, where you will often encounter free-roaming bushbuck. Expansive sea views can be enjoyed from many viewpoints, including the well kept Fisherman's Walk, which extends along the clifftop. For the fitness conscious, walk or run along the streets of the hamlet.Further afield, Knysna is a bustling tourist town, offering a wonderful selection of shops and restaurants. Whether your preference is for sea, mountains, or forests, Knysna offers it all. Boating, sailing, skiing, paddling, running or cycling are all on offer through the many clubs and Tourism organisations.Other infoWe have several indoor/outdoor cats, and a talkative African Grey parrot called Squawk. The African Grey lives in a large cage on the owners' deck upstairs and can be very entertaining from early morning.Cellphone reception inside the apartment is very limited but wifi is good, so data-based communication such as WhatsApp or Facebook Messenger calls are recommended. Cellphone reception outside the apartment, in the garden, is however good.

The apartment is quiet, clean, well-equipped and, above all, very spacious.

With regard to the guest house, you will find a quality welcome, special touches in the house such as wine, fruit and cheese, as well as tea and coffee and chocolates on the bed.·····································································

There's everything you need, children's games, movies, beach towels, weber barbecue with charcoal...

The only negative they commented on was the fact that they tried to book extra days but we had no availability 😊

Knysna Municipality would like to thank and congratulate all Greater Knysna tourism operators, industry role-players and businesses for maintaining world-class standards especially under the pressures of the Covid-19 pandemic. We are all aware of the contribution our tourism industry makes to our local economy.

The TSI identifies its top 100 “Most Loved Destinations” through an intensive data study where more than 1.6 billion online conversations and content pieces and about 21 330 global destinations are analyzed.

Knysna ranked at #19 in the top 20 with a Tourism Sentiment Score (TSS) of 30.23.
