‼️ URGENT REQUEST FROM THE CARNIVORE TEAM ‼️

Several attempts has been made to capture the lioness with the 5, approx 8 months old cubs, but hasnt been successful! The mother is very skittish and hides quickly when vehicles approach! That behaviour has also been confirmed by camera traps set at her own kills!
First of all people inside Marloth should take note of the Alerts and owners of houses should inform there guests of Alerts as well as the continuous movement of lion inside Marloth.
People who reside or rent houses where warthogs are denning or like to sleep on the verandahs, fireplaces or underneath decks, should take extra caution as the lioness has learned that warthogs like to uses houses for dens or burrows! She then stalks and kill these warthogs which make easy prey! Therefor be extra sure of having lights, or being vigilant when moving around at night where warthogs reside. At the current moment the lioness with the cubs are operating more towards Block C to Block F area, as per the attached map, but could expand her “territory” as she is also moving onto properties neighbouring Marloth Park! Therefore her movements and activity areas aren’t always predictable!

We are asking people to report any kills or sightings immediatly at any time, to the provided cell numbers of the Carnivore Team, and please not to disturb the lions once spotted! The intention is to collar the mother and release her again in order to track her and capture the cubs which will be exchanging their milkteeth within the next 5-7 months! Once they have their permanent teeth they will grow in confidence and its highly likely that they will start practising their hunting skills and many prey animals might end up badly injured!
