A lion half day with triple sightings- the Vurhami offshoot pride having great fun chasing each other and jumping up trees then Hippo Pools pride split into 2 sightings- youngsters snoozing and older females making their way to the river , hyena hanging around them. Also very distant vis of the 3 cheetah brothers on S28 , buffalo, elephant. Ground hornbills, marabou storks , spoonbill

Cloudy drizzly half day but double lion sightings with the breakaway Vurhami pride attempting a hippo hunt but being thrown off by the power of the 2 ton animal , also distant vis of 2 other Vurhami lionesses then the 3 cheetah brothers putting on a show scanning for breakfast. Triple hyena sightings with one finding a spurfowl roadkill to eat, tortoise enjoying the wetter weather. A 39 deg day and even the monkeys were passed out next to the rd - triple lion sightings with 2 young males walking on the rd near Vurhami, also Lubyelubye pride and 2 males near Mantimahle, leopard with a kill in a tree , 3 Sable antelope, buffalo and elephant all over the rivers. Secretary bird , martial eagle , lappet faced , white headed , hooded and white backed vultures

A very windy cloudy half day but all 3 cats showing their faces with 2 of Vurhami lionesses walking towards the Croc Bridge causeway, double leopard sightings- Vurhami male leopard sleeping in a tree at Vurhami bridge and brief vis of a young female leopard, the 3 cheetah brothers and jackal close to them on S28 but very distant visual. African harrier hawk, African Hawk and tawny eagles

Hot half day with a Lubyelubye pride male crossing Sabie river following the rest of Lubyelubye pride, hyena, buffalo and elephant herds. Brown headed parrots, martial eagle , lappet faced vulture

4 lion sightings with Lubyelubye pride close to their namesake , pride near Mantimahle, short tailed lioness on S118 and another 2 lionesses hunting on S118 , buffalo and elephant breeding herds, rhino , duiker , steenbok on a termite mound. Martial, bateleur and fish eagles, purple roller

4 lion sightings with 2 young males on S25 , H5 pride crossing the rd - having a fight on a kill out of sight and then coming back across the rd - 2 large males near L Sabie but difficult vis and a Vurhami lioness fast asleep, double leopard sightings- brief vis of a female then a male climbing out a tree , double hyena sightings, buffalo and elephant , 2 giraffes doing a great impersonation of a 2 headed giraffe. Half day with Lubyelubye pride eyeing buffalo and having to avoid elephant herds as they made their way along the riverbank, leopard asleep near a kill , triple hyena sightings , also tiny baby elephant battling to keep up with mom. Martial eagle, fish eagle, yellow billed , marabou and saddle bill storks

Half day with triple lion sightings- H5 lioness walking past the car , mating pr of lions on H4-2 and Lubyelubye pride with 4 new small cubs , female leopard with kill in tree , hyena trying to work out how to climb another tree to get a carcass left by a different leopard , buffalo and elephant breeding herds. Martial, fish and bateleur eagles

Half day with Vurhami pride eyeing a huge herd of buffalo but deciding against tackling such a massive group , brief vis of wild dogs , another huge buff herd on S28 , elephant enjoying the river. Martial and fish eagles, marabou storks
