We’ve been asked again and again if our beaches are still closed and / or safe to swim at. Please know that none of our beaches were closed recently l, water quality is being tested every day and are in the ideal range and three of our most beautiful beaches have been rewarded blue flag status recently. There is really no reason to be be concerned. Ballito is more than ready for the season with clean beaches and all the amenities our beautiful holiday town has to offer.

The Wildlife and Environment Society of South Africa (Wessa) announced recently that three popular KZN beaches, Blythedale, Thompson’s Bay and Willard Beach, have been awarded Blue Flag status. With
