🦩 Meet the Kori Bustard! Did you know males can reach up to 120 cm and weigh up to 19,000 g? Females are a bit smaller, but just as stunning!

🎨 With brown backs, wings, and tails adorned with buff vermiculations, and a striking white panel with black spots on their wings, they're true savannah royalty!

🏜️ Found in flat, arid landscapes, from Kenya to South Africa, they're also adaptable to man-modified habitats like wheat fields.

🍽️ Their menu? Seeds, berries, insects, rodents, and even eggs! They play a vital role in the ecosystem, especially during locust infestations or post-fire periods.

🛑 Threats like habitat destruction and collisions with infrastructure pose risks, but conservation efforts are underway to protect these majestic creatures.

Pangolin Guardians program is getting some real traction with some larger safari companies coming abroad to train their guides how to get involved in their local communities in Botswana and Zimbabwe to conserve and protect pangolins. Pangolin.Africa is involved in conservation with pangolins. Pangolins are poached for their scales and meat.

Visit Cullinan Diamond mine. First time after Covid. Whole tour changed dramatical. Still a great experience!
Also visit Voortrekker Monument and Freedom park. Drive passed Kruger house, Church Square and stop at Union Buildings.
