Riverbend Self Catering Cottages offer private, peaceful and romantic accommodation away from the he We are looking forward to welcome you.

Our 3 self catering cottages are nestled on the foothills of the Magalies Mountains. Surrounded from bush and bordering a little river our little paradise is the perfect break for all the stress and noise of the daily city life. All cottages are 2 sleeper units, fully equipped and in a decent distance to each other for our guests privacy.

Your donations made this first operation possible and we are optimistic hopeful , that the final orthopedic one will be funded too. UPDATE 22 AUGUST 2024
Simba is doing well. He will be going back for a follow up in 2 weeks. Simba has to remain in the care of Wetnose for at least 2 months to ensure he heal and he gets the aftercare that is needed to ensure a successful outcome. This is great for me because I can visit for Simba-cuddles often 😉

The information I have - the op went well and he is coming back to Wetnose today, Wednesday 🌷

I'll visit Simba on Friday and give more feedback them x

I just got this - Simba is undergoing his operation to fix his leg right now.

He is under the care of Wetnose Animal Rescue Centre - I'll try find out which vet is doing the op.

This week marks 1 year that we welcomed our first dog and their owners in your new fenced off, pet friendly units.

We want to celebrate this anniversary with you and your fur kids by offering the original discounted opening rate for this week.

1 bedroom unit, sleeping 2 adults, R 850 per night, self catering.
Suitable for 1 big or 2 smaller dogs.

After a night with NO FIREWORKS our guests had a refreshing sleep and the dogs.... well, they are full of joy and playful nonsense ;-) What a blessing to live here.

In the blink of an eye. The devastating fire last weekend burnt down the harvest and stock of a whole year at my neighbour's feed mill. We as the farmers community are desperately looking for people in the are who have fields with grass we can cut. That will help to bring them back into business. Please contact me anytime if you know about an option or even have bales you could donate.

Team Riverbend on a special outing. Game drive in PIlanesberg, What a spectacular day. We have been blessed with lots of sightings.

And last but not least a BIG THANK YOU to my team George and Zoncy. Even entertaining the kids between all their duties was not too much for them. I am proud and blessed to have them on my side.
